Limes Watches of Pforzheim Germany has been intimately involved
with motorsport for several years, sponsoring Vintage Racing in
the United States since 2002. In 2005 Limes stepped up their participation
to become the title sponsor of the Middle Hessen Rallye Classic
in Germany, an important event run since 1990. The 15th running
in 2005 was renamed The Limes Uhren Rallye.
Limes also participated as a sponsor of the 2005 "Going
to the Sun Rally", a 1000 mile drive through Montana and
Wyoming with entrants as notable as a 1961 Ferrari 250 SWB California
Spyder, and a 1960 Aston Martin DB4GT Zagato. The November issue
of International Watch Magazine contains an article on this rallye.
