Limited Edition '80 Years Ickler' - 1924 to 2004

To celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of Ickler, we are honored to offer a very special limited edition of only 80 pieces in steel, and 80 pieces in twotone, for the friends and collectors of Limes.

In 1924 Karl Ickler founded a company in Pforzheim Germany to manufacture watch parts and cases. He had previously worked as the head of manufacturing departments for foreign companies. After gaining valuable knowledge and experience, he decided to start his own watch case manufacture.

Times were different in 1924. There were no computers, CNC machines, or much of the equipment that is now the norm in watch production. Much of the work was performed by hand. Karl Ickler always strived for quality, and the name Ickler soon became synonymous with the word.

Today, three generations later, much has changed, but much remains the same. Ickler GmbH is still in Pforzheim, led by Karl's grandson Thomas Ickler. There are now a host of modern CNC machines and computers, but certain working cycles are still done by the specialists hand. One thing that remains the same is the dedication to quality and reliability that has made Ickler GmbH one of Germany's most respected watch and watch case manufactures.
